Are you ever looking for a traffic free solution to get to the airport?  Have your ever tried route 29?  Route 29 starts at Spring St in downtown Atlanta as Peters St in Castleberry Hill and becomes Lee St as you pass through West End, finally becoming Main Street as you travel south.

Some noted sites you will pass are: Ft McPherson - which will continue to be in the news until the fort closes and is redeveloped; East Point - with shops, restaurants, and a booming resurgence in the housing market; College Park - known for Woodward Academy, stately southern bungalows and mansions, as well as dining and new Convention Center. 

To arrive at the Hartsfield Jackson Airport, you can either turn left onto Camp Creek Parkway or right just after all the car rentals.  Either way, you have had a scenic, traffic free ride to the airport.
